Story: I was born at Annigine Station and Lived there for 5 years with my Mother and father. When I was 6 years old we traveled by donkey to Willowra with my parents. I lived there for many years and went to school there.In 1974 I went to Yirara College.My mother is from this country and she is Warumunga and my father is Warlpiri. I have one son and two foster children my only child's name is Nazareth Long and my foster children's name are Gidson and Lucyanne Long. I moved here in Tennant Creek with my mother and 3 children and I'm working here at the art centre ( Pink Palace)

Story: Annie was born in Tennant Creek and lived at Banka Banka Station when she moved to Tennant Creek in the 1980's. She went to Alice Spring High School and Tennant Creek High School. She has two sons and one daughter. Annie was working at Health worker and she started working at Julalikari Arts and Crafts in 2002. As an Indigenous artist, Annie continues to explore her culture through land, tucker and ceremony but slots strongly into the 'Contemporary Indigenous' school with her clever and meticulous graphic style.

Story: I was born at Rockhampton Downs Station. I have four children their names are Kelvin,Helena,Randall and Waylon. I grew up at Rockhampton Downs Station and went to school there. In 1988 I moved to a place call Karlinjari which is my grandfathers country. I lived there until 2006 I moved to Tennant Creek where I work at the Pink Palace now

Story: Flora was born at Brunette Downs Station and lived there most of her life. She worked there as a cook and cleaner. She has one son and one daughter. Now Flora lives in Tennant Creek. She started painting in 2002 at Julalikari Arts and Crafts. Flora's works continue to attract attention and acclaim for their whimsical approach and extraordinary colour application.

Story: Born 1973. Lindy has been painting with Julalikari Arts since 2003, and before that at Jukurrpa Arts in Alice Springs. Her life is closely linked to the Barkly region and her works document her intense knowledge of her land and it's history. She came to pre-emminence with a series of works that recorded every aspect of the building of the Alice Springs-Darwin rail link through her country. Her depiction of the rocky spinifex country that she lives in is truly evocative. In 2006 she has been revisiting her family history ... the everyday occurrences from the 40's to 90's create an important social bi-line.

Artist: Rhonda Plummer

Story: Rhonda was born in Tennant Creek she is orginally from Elliott. She went to Darwin High School. She is married to Ronald and they have five children and six grandchildren. Two of their sons play in a band and Rhonda is involved with it. She also likes sports and helps raise funds for the Football Club, as well as helping people who need help.

Story: Susan was born in 1943 and grew up at Banka Banka Station. She went to school at Bungalo (Telegraph Station) school in Alice Springs. When she married, she went back to live at Banka Banka Station where she had two children and worked at Banka Banka School, in the station's garden and kitchen, setting tables for stockmen. She is divorced and lives now in Tennant Creek and has three grandchildren. Susan painted with Anyinginyi Arts from 1998 and began painting with Julalikari Arts in 2003. She paints bush tucker, landscapes, 'culture' paintings relating to her homeland Ngappgunba, and, more recently, 'religious' paintings. 'Black and white together. Together.
